About my art

My work has a heavy focus on fantasy, mythology, and cryptozoology. Animated shows like Gravity Falls and game series like The Legend of Zelda had a heavy influence on me. I remember reading the Ology book series as a kid, pouring over detailed illustrations, and adoring the dedicated worldbuilding. Through Cicada Hollow i'm working to build my own universe full of whimsical creatures and meaningful stories!I specialize in fiber arts with a focus on crocheted plushies. My crochet pieces are stitched from original patterns I made myself and include hand-stitched felt details and beadwork. My most popular crocheted products are my chibi plushies of various mythical species, as well as my variety of possum and bug keychains.My merchandise is a variety of prints, stickers, and handmade clay goods. I pride myself in making detailed pieces full of symbolism and bold shapes. I adore picking apart art and scenes from my favorite media and finding all the hidden meanings in the visuals and language. I hope to use my art to bring people that same experience!
